I approach Denisa Šedivá’s book ABCZ or All You Need to Know about Czechia and the Czechs with great admiration. This book stands out in many ways. It stands out for its originality, imagination, typography and above all the message.
Each letter of the alphabet is given two pages. The right-hand side opens up and you will find concepts starting from that letter. The book contains a total of 257 entries related to the Czech Republic, important personalities, Czech culture, history and tradition. All this is decorated with original black and white illustrations. At the end of each letter there is a task that children can perform, and at the very end you can sing a Czech song…
